editorial - candid - documentary style, mostly in contemporary sports settings
Cédric Alexander Klei Bonnaud is a Chamber of Commerce registered Delft-based photographer portraying passé perspectives on everyday sights through appealing visuals. Originally from Amsterdam, he photographs on a freelance basis - combining it with his studies at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Delft University of Technology. Previous work includes highly formal ceremonial occasions at instances at the University of Amsterdam and well-established Student associations.
On a less formal note:
This website serves as a medium to take a closer - and uncompressed - look at a fraction of the portfolio I have built upon the years. It consists mainly of documented travels abroad, but it also covers planned portrait imagery. That is, mainly in the form of both digital and analog photography, but also in video and graphic format. Ever since shooting on analog format I have come to cherish the imperfections that come along with the nature of the analog process ever more. This altered my thoughts on the post-processing of digital photographs, where I now find myself neglecting the removal of certain imperfections, which translated into an ever more distinct raw and candid style. Furthermore. as president of the Photographers committee at the Delft-based rowing association D.S.R.V. "Laga", I have attended and photographed many sports events. Through this, I have explored applying aforementioned imagery at passé-styled occasions, such as the annual "Varsity" regatta at Houten.
So grab a cup of English tea with plenty of milk and sugar, sit back and explore the little this website has to offer. Or, even better, get in contact today!

Unsplash is a large and fast-growing medium where commercial-level and personal consumers alike seek royalty-free photographs from a large variety of photographers. As photographers do not get any compensation for publishing on the medium - apart from recognition - and as one is required to give up their copyright over their work, I decided to no longer provide any more images on the platform and remove my already published features. Although the recognition - and thereby also the few paid collaborations which followed - were great, it just did not seem right to me for my photographs to be used just so. Often without credit and sometimes even going so far as to be sold without any changes made to the photograph, which is Unsplash's demand. Hence why the hyperlinks indirectly lead to a non-active Unsplash profile.
